About Speech
"Once we take a deep breath and instruct our mind, our voice will be heard."
In all conditions where our speech is affected it is highly possible that we can re-train ourselves to speak again.
Speech is a part of our instinct. Although we may feel it to be a simple action, for all those who are affected, regaining speech requires focus, commitment and patience to know how to re-establish the voice once it has disappeared.
Causes of speech related difficulties vary from a secondary symptom to a neurological condition or injury, a trauma or shock, or a feeling of inadequacy brought on by fear.
We must constantly be reminded of the process which takes place when we speak for it to become possible to re-train, regain and control it.
As speech is highly instinctive we can easily submit to weakness. Once all doubts are eliminated learning to recreate sound will develop naturally and speech will return instinctively.
At the Mind Clinic individuals learn how to re-establish their vocal cords, to empower speech.
Combining mental-physical rehabilitation and alleviating the mental and/or emotional restrictions, individuals are taught how to exercise the lips, mouth, throat and tongue, to make sounds, form words and ultimately to speak again.
Persistent focus and instruction to the mind will enable the mind to force a natural sound. This is then built upon to recreate the voice.
