About Sleep
"Sleep is an important aspect of our existence, we must eliminate the battle and negotiate and implement instead."
Anything can cause a sleep disorder, and there are many forms of sleep disorder.
As we are all individual and unique, we all sleep according to our needs and demands. Some of us manage to sleep for two hours and be contented and others sleep for 12 hours and it is still not enough.
Sleep disorders vary. There is one that is due to idleness and repetitive thoughts of the past that churn around our heads the moment we put our head down on the pillow to sleep, causing sleepless nights.
We can spend our day daydreaming, completely detached from reality, where dreaming consumes the whole day. When it comes to sleep time we find it impossible to sleep, as we have been in halfsleep throughout the day.
Naturally, we take going to sleep for granted, we expect our self to enter sleep state with ease, without preparing our self to sleep.
When we instruct the self that it is time to sleep the mind will react to the word “sleep”. All that is required is to keep our focus on our sleep and not allow other thoughts to intrude or dominate.
When there is discipline in our sleeping and waking hours we find ourselves more energised and more objective.
Erratic sleeping patterns and not waking up at appropriate times will cause the mind to perceive this behaviour as a weakness and our energy will drain throughout our day.
At The Mind Clinic individuals learn through mind instruction how to detach so sleep can become peaceful.
