About Post Diagnosis
"We must always remember that any prognosis given is only an opinion."
Being diagnosed with a medically labelled condition can place us in a vulnerable situation, especially if we have been given a grim prognosis.
Suggestions can play over and over in our minds until we begin living them, literally acting them out, exactly as described by a doctor.
Accepting a grim prognosis is a submission to weakness. As our fears grow, so will the physical weakness. As our perception of the self is so demeaning, every negative suggestion made about the condition will influence it in a negative way.
Throughout our lives we face many trials that create emotions, habits and behaviour, all of which affect us in one way or another.
Once we realise that the changes that take place within our bodies are not permanent and by understanding the emotional influences, and altering our behaviour, we discover that all situations that we face can be controlled by mind over matter.
At The Mind Clinic individuals learn how to bring the focus back into changing and challenging the diagnosis/prognosis that is suggested by the doctor or professional.
Individuals learn to eliminate the deeply embedded fear or shock from the unconscious mind.
Diagnosis or prognosis becomes meaningless as symptoms halt and thoughts are no longer dominated by weakness. The natural instinct returns where the physical self returns to normal.
These are highly complex processes and individuals must be willing to be totally committed to a new way of life.
