About Self Confidence
"We can never expect ourselves to behave the same as others do."
We all have confidence in some areas of life. As our moods and emotions fluctuate we can never be confident in everything that we do.
Some of us are apprehensive about certain aspects of life and would like to see ourselves in a different light.
Others are naturally shy, and some of us react to criticism from peers or elders and lose self-confidence, so this becomes part of our natural behaviour.
There is a need for self-confidence when we want to impress others, as we feel we are about to be judged.
It is our own imagination and "over-thinking" that makes us lack confidence and feel inadequate.
When our natural freedom becomes restricted the imagination runs riot to the point of paralysing certain aspects of our being.
When we question why we lack confidence in certain areas and are rational about the reality, it is highly likely that we will lose the phobia that restricts our self-confidence.
We do not need to be confident in all areas of our life, as this will limit our ability to empathise.
At The Mind Clinic we point out issues that create a lack of self-confidence. Through reasoning and redirecting attention, all matters of self-confidence are perceived differently where the concern over self-confidence becomes irrelevant.
